Aberfoyle Park Campus Preschool - Governance
The Governing Council is a group of elected parents who actively support the Director and Staff in achieving the kindergarten's vision.
Some areas of responsibility are the maintenance and improvement of the kindergarten grounds, financial management, fundraising, authorising expenditure as well as setting policy for future directions.
The Annual General Meeting is held at the beginning of each year and two general meetings held during each school term. Details of dates and times are noted in the newsletter and displayed on the notice board.
Your involvement could include tidying up after a session, supporting working bees and taking part in fundraising events.
Fundraising is our major source of revenue for the purchase of resources such as puzzles, books and equipment. There is usually one major fundraising event per term and your support is appreciated.
